Mpilo Sikhakhane is an evidence leader on the Madlanga Commission, working alongside advocates Mahlape Sello, Adila Hassim, Lee Segeels-Ncube, Ofentse Motlhasedi, Thabang Pooe and Teboho Mosikili.

The Justice, Crime Prevention and Security cluster named him as the Commission's evidence leader for the testimony of retired Lieutenant-Colonel Jakobus Prinsloo, a former member of the SAPS Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation. He has also assisted Advocate Teboho Mosikili in leading witnesses.

On the Tshwane strand he questioned service-provider invoices and the verification behind them, evidence reported by IOL and the Pretoria News in April 2026. He is reported to be the son of Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane.
